Lisa R. Reeves Newnan, Georgia Municipal Court Judge, Grantville, Georgia
JUSTICE WITH A SOUTHERN STYLE
A Portrait of Attorney Lisa R. Reeves
"As early as ten years old, it was my goal to be an attorney. I was inspired by early broadcasts of Perry Mason. The ability to assist other people in legal matters intrigued me. The ability to ensure that justice prevailed during the judicial process seemed double rewarding. Not only could I provide legal services to those in need of such services, but I also could ensure justice," states Attorney Lisa R. Reeves f/k/ Lisa R. Roberts.
A 1989 graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law, she is now in private practice with offices located in Newnan, Griffin and Atlanta, Georgia. As a former Solicitor General for Griffin Municipal Court, she prosecuted offenders of the Griffin City Code and Georgia Traffic Code. Her prosecution includes offenders charged with driving under the influence (DUI) and housing code violations as well as theft by shoplifting and speeding. "I am fair in my prosecution of all offenders because I want to ensure justice prevails for all. There have been several occasions in which potential clients, which I have formerly prosecuted as an Assistant District Attorney for the Coweta Judicial Circuit, have called upon me, since I have been in private practice, to represent them in other legal matters. This gives me a great feeling and confirms my belief that I am ensuring justice for all." In addition to her law practice, Lisa R. Reeves is serving as Municipal Court Judge for the City of Grantville.
