Who We Are
Lisa Roberts is fractional General Counsel for growth-stage payments and fintech companies that need to move quickly in regulated and compliance-driven markets. Her focus isn't simply legal protection. It's helping leadership make faster, better-informed business decisions while building a durable compliance and commercial foundation underneath the growth.
Lisa most recently served as General Counsel of Stax Payments, a payments technology company serving SaaS businesses and SMBs, where she owned all legal matters, compliance and enterprise risk as a member of the Executive Leadership Team. Before that, she spent five years at NCR Corporation, promoted from Chief Counsel to Law Vice President & Chief Counsel, Payments & Network, overseeing legal matters for a global payments division generating $1 billion in revenue. Earlier, she was Corporate Counsel at Worldpay (acquired by FIS), First Vice President & Senior Counsel at Truist (formerly SunTrust Bank) and an attorney at Arnall Golden Gregory, an AmLaw 200 firm.
Growth changes the questions a company must be able to answer. Lisa spent two decades on the inside of that shift. That’s the idea behind Lisa Roberts Law. You need experienced legal leadership in the room when the consequential decisions get made.
